Annabell Lisa is a French-American artist, illustrator, and writer. She grew up in the French Alps and currently resides in beautiful Western North Carolina. Annabell’s inspiration comes from the land and mountains where she lives. Annabell’s primary medium is watercolor, but she loves finding new art materials.

After teaching 2nd grade at a local arts-centered school for 20 years, Annabell decided it was time to focus on creating kid-lit! This is where her passion has taken her now.

Along with painting and drawing, Annabell designs and sells jewelry, creates costumes, and bakes sourdough. She has two fun kids a fantastic partner, and a vicious black cat.
